The Beechcraft V35 Bonanza was introduced by the Beech Aircraft Corporation in 1947. It is a general aviation aircraft still in production by Beechcraft as of 2010, making it an aircraft that has been in continuous production longer than any other in history. The V35 Bonanza is powered by a Teledyne-Continental engine that is normally aspirated, providing it a range of 930 nautical miles and 300 HP. Smooth handling and the quality of a commercial airliner makes it the touring aircraft of choice for the discriminating traveler. First-time fliers will also delight in the feeling of safety and security provided by the V35 Bonanza while in flight. Unknown to many, this civil utility aircraft served during the Vietnam War, where it was converted by the US Air Force into an electronic monitoring signal relay aircraft designated the QU-22. The QU-22 was intended for use as an unmanned drone with the objective of monitoring sensors along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. This handcrafted model is painted in the same paint scheme as the original and is painstakingly built from Philippine mahogany by our skilled craftsmen. Perfect as a gift for any aviation enthusiast and history buff!.
