Built during the Second World War, the A1-H Skyraider was considered archaic in the age of modern jet fighters. Although the Skyraider did not take part in World War II, the aircraft nonetheless became an asset during the Korean War. This piston-powered, propeller-driven attack aircraft was primarily used by the United States Navy (USN) and the United States Marine Corps (USMC).
