Highly detailed 1/700 scale assembly model kit of the USS Bon Homme Richard (CV/CVA-31), an Essex-class aircraft carrier of the United States Navy. The USS Bon Homme Richard (CV-31) arrived in the Pacific theater towards the end of World War II, and she was decommissioned at the war's end. She was re-commissioned in the early 1950's as an attack carrier (CVA-31) and played a prominent role in the Korean War, for which she earned five battle stars. This rare 1/700 scale model kit of the CV/CVA-31 by Dragon Models features: Newly tooled 1/700 Grumman F9F-2 Panther and Douglas AD-6 Skyraider aircraft NEW TOOLING. 1/700 Sikorsky H-5 Dragonfly helicopter, Grumman F9F-8 Panther, McDonnell F-2H Banshee jet aircraft in clear plastic.
