Glad I got this when I did.

If you have a Harmony 1 you better examine the battery. Mine was about 4 years old and started not holding a charge. I had to pry out the old battery which was swollen so much I think it would have eventually exploded. I never saw anything like this before on a rechargable battery. If yours is getting up in years consider replacing it.

Works fine with my Harmony 890

My harmony remote wasn’t holding charge after about 3 years of daily use. Ordered this battery over the logitech one which was more than twice the price. Works fine. I had to use a piece of paper to push the battery against the contacts in the remote but hasn’t given me any trouble for the last 5 weeks now and charges quickly.

Works

My remote was acting funny lately. It lost its charge and it was having connection issues with the base. The charging base is a whole other story, but if I do not position the remote perfectly on the base it will not charge the battery at all. And by perfect I mean you could blow on the remote and it will lose its connection with the base.

Anyway, I figured I owned it for over 5 years and it was time to replace the battery.

This battery works as it should. Got the remote to connect to the base after 5 minutes of trying to position it correctly (damn you Logitech and your horribly constructed base that you will not replace!)

I wish the price was a little lower for this battery though.

If you think about it, the cost is about 25% of purchasing a brand new remote.

Overall, it works great, and I would recommend if you need a replacement battery.

Works well!

My original battery started failing and would keep a charge for less than one day. This one lasts for days before I need to recharge. I highly recommend it! (Note: others have mentioned it is not a genuine Logitech battery, but mine has the Logitech logo in it.)

replaces 3.5 yr old OEM for Harmony One

Recently noticed significant drop in the time between charges with my 3.5 year old Harmony One. This battery looks generic but it has the Logitech logo on the label. Went to remove the old battery and almost couldn’t remove it. Required a lot of effort with needle-nosed pliers to accomplish. The old battery was quite swollen. If you have a Logitech remote with a battery 3 or so years old, better look at replacing it soon. No idea how good the new battery is since I just got it, but hey, it’s a battery.

Check your old battery!

I am so glad I read other reviews for this battery. Many mentioned that their old battery, the one that came with the remote (Harmony One), had swollen inside the remote. This lead me to check the old battery in mine, and sure enough, it had swollen and I had to use needle nose pliers to remove it. Had I not read the reviews others left, I probably would have put off buying a new battery, because the old one losing charge more quickly was just an annoyance.

The new battery is already better. I left if off of the charging cradle overnight just to see what kind of charge it would keep, and in the morning, it is still showing as full. The old one would have been completely dead if it were left off the cradle overnight. Very pleased with the new one.
