Since it takes two to tango, this kit contains two aircrafts.  The instructions tell you how to build one, so you and your buddy could build them together, or one at a time.  The unusually low profile produces a smaller, harder to hit target for the enemy, while the twin vertical fins ensure stability even after one has been knocked off in a hit.  This kit is for the intermediate flier because if you're consentrating on just keeping your plane up, you'll have no attention left for combat!
Since 1974, the San Francisco Vultures, an r/c glider club, has been enjoying an annual combat contest.  The aim is simply to knock the opponents' planes out of the air- no messy, complicated ribbons to cut.  When flown with the lightweight, tough Anabats, this test of flying skills and guts is neither particularly dangerous nor expensive.  The Anabat Combat was designed with this purpose in mind.  Complete rules to slope combat are included with the Combat kits.
